    Hi Jared
I have been trough your videos a couple of times already and learning a lot more than from any other program i have joined previous, i am determined to have an affiliate income of some sort this year, I will join your next course as soon as I have set up what I have learned so far
My Question to you is…..Is there any special requirements, what I mean is there anything I need to put in place before applying for Amazon associate membership.
I am an affiliate to Amazon but I want to be able to link to pages and to do the things you show in these videos, I have a word press website that I put together just to get the hang of it, but I don’t think that site is suitable, so if you can guide me in the right direction, i would very much appreciate it
    Thanks
    Karl Jorgensen

    • Hey Karl,

I’m glad you are taking steps to building an affiliate income.
As far as the special requirements, there aren’t any.

Amazon Associate Membership is the same as being an Amazon
affiliate. If you go to http://www.amazon.com/affiliate and login
(or join) you will be able to create links to any product or page you want.

Once you log in you can use the “product links” feature under the
“Links and Banners” drop down menu. From there you can search
for any product you want to sell and create a link with you affiliate code embedded.

If you want to link to a page, while logged into your Amazon affiliate account,
browse to any page you want to link to on Amazon.com. If you are logged in
you will see a gray bar at the top of the page (choose “Link to this page”).

Please let me know if this is helpful.

Thanks for the great information! I’m learning tons of stuff watching these videos!

Do you know if there are any legal issues in using domain names that have other companies names in them? Have you ran into any problems with this before?

    Hi Jared,

So each time you find a product and set up a website , you have to pay these charges ? How many websites do you advise someone who’s new to this to start off with ?

    • Each time you set up a site around a product these charges would apply. I realize that this can be expensive when starting out.
I would suggest setting up a niche site that showcases many of the same products to increase relevancy. Set up a WordPress site
and use blog post or pages around each product.

The downside to this method is that you will have to do more linkbuilding to each page to get the same result as setting up a unique
      domain/site for each product.

    Hi,

great videos. I have a web hosting company already in service for me. Weebly.com and I can build several sites. I was wondering if it would be ok to set up a store site and then have individual pages within the site be built that would pertain to a certain product. For example: http://www.shopnow.com/louisvillesluggerpitchingmachine. It would be a single site that could promote many products. I do not have the resources right now to buy several sites for several products, I realize that that the single site for a single product is best, but would my plan work??

    Thanks
